Graham's 1st game - 1/10/09
Graham's basketball team is playing right now. I stayed home with Kennedy and Luke because it is just not worth it to wake up everyone and get them dressed and out of the house for an 8:00 game on a Saturday. I hope the game is going well... they have lost the past two games badly - like 40-2. Graham is still pretty clueless about basketball, but I am really happy he is playing anyway. If nothing else, basketball has been great for improving is coordination and it wears him out. Although it can be painful to watch, I just have to think of it as a learning experience!
Tonight, we have Kennedy's birthday party at Young Chef's Academy. She invited four friends to her party and decided to "let" her brothers come too. The kids are making pizza and cupcakes. I found plain white aprons at Hobby Lobby and had the kids' names embroidered on them at Sweet Love and Sugar Britches in Round Rock - they turned out really cute! I will try to get lots of pictures and post them tonight.
Tomorrow morning, I am running 3M , a half marathon in Austin. I have done this race several times before, and it is by far my favorite half marathon. It is all down hill, so that makes if fast and fun! This year it will be extra fun because my brother and sister-in-law are running it too. My brother, Andy, and I are "racing" eachother. I know that he is faster than me, but somehow I ran the Turkey Trot faster than him... so this is our re-match. On one hand, I have the advantage because I have been distance running for a while now. BUT he has always been super fast so I think if he can pace himself throughout the miles, he should have the overall advantage. We will see! :-)
Have a great weekend!

Who one???? =)))
